Here’s a link to more information about today’s shooting at Chardon High School in Ohio. This article acknowledges the suspect was known as an outcast who had apparently been bullied and appeared to be targeting a particular group in the cafeteria. For me, this is more evidence of the need for students, parents, teachers and school administrators to better address the problem of bullying in schools. It is not just kids being kids. It is young people killing themselves and killing one another. It has to stop. No one should tolerate it. If you are a student and you witness or experience bullying in any form, tell someone.  Please don’t wait for someone else to do it.
